No Knead Sourdough

CANCELED:  Due to a kitchen scheduling conflict, we have canceled this class.  Refunds have been issued and communicated.  We hope to offer this class in the winter when life is a little less crazy in the garden!

Back by popular demand for a second turn in the same year. Learn how to bake sourdough bread yourself, following the popular “no-knead” method of baking bread. In the class, you will create and shape a batch of sourdough to take home, along with a jar of starter, to bake more bread on your own. Calin will take you a further step by teaching you how to capture wild yeast for use in the process and how to care for your starter culture, short- and long-term. A bonus is preparing a soup to eat along with a sample of bread in class.
